Monnette bridges' the gap between genres. She enjoys jazz, blues hip-hop, folk R&B, poetry and classics. Her musical compositions and collaborations reflect her musical diversity, without compromise or loss of integrity. Her arrangements provide the vehicle for Monnette and her band to jam. Europe, Japan, South Africa, Jamaica and the United States have welcomed jazz guitarist Monnette Sudler.

Monnette Sudler and her trio featuring Trombonist Frank Lacey performed this month at the Jazz a'Vienne Festival in Vienne France at Club DE MINUIT. The town is beautiful, the music fantastic, two weeks of superb music form around the world. Back to Paris Monnette recorded for Heavenly Sweetness label with some cool Parisian musicians. Many surprising moments on this CD.

West Oak Lane jazz Festival was a blast, lots of people, vending, and of course fantastic music.

Rapper Abyss joined Monnette Sudler's band Mosu. Performing music from her new Cd "Let the Rhythm Take You."

Webb T's Fleet and the Superb and was outstanding with Julian Pressley on alto saxophone, Pete Chavez tenor, Tim Thompson Trumpet, Dan Kostalnik organ and captain of the Fleet, drummer Webb Thomas. Receiving a warm welcome at Chris's Café in downtown Philadelphia.

Monnette Sudler as executive producer has just released her latest 2008 CD on MSM-Phillyinde records entitled Monnette Sudler "Let the Rhythm Take You" featuring Abyss. This CD takes the listener on a smooth journey through jazz, funk, Rap, African, vocals and storytelling. Inspired by Literary work, rap, contemporary jazz, African folk music, and traditional jazz for guitar highlighted on "Transition" and "Malik Yaumi'Din". Monnette collaborates with her son on the title track "Let the Rhythm Take You". Wonderfully rich vocals and old school grooves. It is a CD that can bring the generations together.
